Well, I always hesitate about choosing presents to anyone. Becaus It is very difficoult to choose something necessary and helpful. Of coorse it is very simple to give someone a frame for pictures, statuette, piggy bank or another knick-knack but I really hate such presents. And another situation. Last time each year someone gives me earrings as a present inspite of the fact that I have not my ears pierced. 
That's why I always try to give useful presents. And It is happening sometimes that I ask a frend what he need previously.
